Description
The Benetech GM8905 is a handheld digital laser tachometer that measures the rotational speed of an object. It has a 5-digit LCD display with 18mm characters and measures in units of rpm. The measuring range is 2.5-99999rpm with a resolution of 0.1rpm for speeds between 2.5-999.9rpm and 1rpm for speeds between 1000-99999rpm. The basic precision is +/-(0.1%n+5d)rpm for speeds between 2.5-999.9rpm and +/-(1%n+5d)rpm for speeds between 1000-99999rpm. The tachometer has a laser power of CLASS II 2-5mW and a sampling rate of 1 second per measurement. The measuring distance is between 50-500mm and it uses a quartz crystal as its time base. The tachometer also has an auto power off feature that activates after 1 minute of no operation.
